Japanese restaurant chains launch August half‑price noodle promotions

Sakigake Holdings’ restaurant brand 札幌みその will run a child‑ramen half‑price fair from 1 August to 27 September 2026. For each regular‑size noodle order, a child’s ramen bowl is offered at ¥190 (51 % off). The promotion applies to all 札幌みそん locations across Japan and is aimed at families during summer vacations and Silver Week.

Toridoll Holdings’ 丸亀製麺 will offer its classic 釜揚げうどん at half price on 1 August and 1 September 2026, with cold ぶっかけうどん also discounted on those dates. Prices drop from ¥390 to ¥190 for regular‑size udon and from ¥340 to ¥170 for small cold ぶっかけうどん. The chain notes that each udon sold supports earthquake relief in Ishikawa and highlights its bucket‑reuse program for disabled‑employment and waste reduction.

Both promotions target summer diners and emphasize affordable family meals while showcasing each company’s broader branding and charitable initiatives.
