Japanese restaurants announce Silver Week buffet promotions

Several Japanese dining establishments have announced special promotional campaigns for the upcoming Silver Week period, running from September 19 to September 23, 2026.

Nillax Buffet locations, including The Buffet Diner at Aeon Mall Kobe Kita, are offering a flat rate of 1,099 yen (including tax) for elementary school students across all buffet courses. This promotion applies to 31 Nillax Buffet locations nationwide.

In Shiga Prefecture, the Biwako Otsu Prince Hotel is launching a multi-generational family plan at its Lake View Dining Biona restaurant. For groups consisting of three or more generations, one child under the age of seven will dine for free for every two adults. The restaurant will feature seasonal local ingredients, such as Omi beef and regional specialties, during its lunch and dinner buffet services.
