Yakiniku chain Jūjū Karubi began a limited‑time summer lunch program on July 9, offering “Summer toku! Set” meals priced from ¥1,099 to ¥1,979. The sets include unlimited rice, black curry, soup, salad and kimchi, plus a free cold‑noodle side. The promotion runs until August 26 and is unavailable at the Utsunomiya and Higashi‑Umeda locations, with the Kumano‑Mie store serving only on weekends and holidays.
Tokyo’s Yuzu‑an restaurant started a summer beef‑tongue all‑you‑can‑eat course on July 14, running through mid‑August. The 100‑minute “luxury” course, priced at ¥5,478 (¥5,808 at some sites), features thin‑sliced beef tongue shabu‑shabu alongside sushi, sukiyaki and other items. A single‑plate beef‑tongue option is also offered for ¥539.
