Japanese retailers announce new anime-themed merchandise releases

Frontier Works has revealed details for the limited edition Blu-ray Box set of the TV anime ‘Iron Wok Jan!’, scheduled for release on December 23, 2026. The official online limited edition will include a ‘Gobanchou Hanten’ logo T-shirt and a drawstring bag. Various retailers, including Animate, Amazon.co.jp, and Rakuten Books, will offer exclusive store benefits such as acrylic coasters, mats, and posters.

Separately, the retailer Workman has announced a collaboration with the anime ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’. Starting in December 2026, Workman will release a line of functional winter apparel, including sweatshirts and coin cases. The sweatshirt collection will feature four designs inspired by characters such as Yuji Itadori, Choso, and Naoya Zenin, with each priced at 1,900 yen.
