Japanese retailers unveil durable black polo shirts and summer polo options

GINZA Global Style’s Nagoya store introduced a new Beauty‑Polo shirt designed for summer office wear. The garment features a semi‑stiff collar that stays upright, a box‑silhouette for a relaxed yet professional look, and is offered in navy and brown. Customers can order the shirt in‑store, with a typical production time of three weeks, and receive parking‑service vouchers based on purchase amount.

Izu‑gi Co., a long‑standing textile trader in Fukuyama, Hiroshima, launched the “original black T‑shirt & polo” using a patented “original‑dye” technology that embeds black pigment into the fiber itself. Independent testing showed the fabric retains colour after 100 washes, resists UV‑induced fading, and reflects 99.5% of UV radiation. The polyester‑rayon blend offers a cotton‑like feel, double‑stitched cuffs, and a reinforced collar to maintain shape.

Both products target business‑casual customers seeking garments that stay crisp, resist colour loss, and provide comfort in hot weather.
