Japanese schools hold July open house events for prospective students

Kaisei High School (海星高等学校) organized its first open school on 27 June, inviting middle‑school students and parents to tour the campus, attend a ceremony, experience classes and receive a school pamphlet. The event highlighted student activities and the school’s emphasis on turning personal interests into motivation.

On 4‑5 July, a series of open‑house sessions were scheduled at ten private middle‑ and high‑school institutions in the Tokyo‑Kanagawa region, including Asano, Shiroyuri, Senzoku, and Yokohama Kyōritsu schools. Each session offered facility tours, class observations, individual consultations and informational briefings for prospective students and their families.

Both initiatives aim to showcase school environments, curricula and extracurricular opportunities to attract new applicants ahead of the upcoming admission cycle.
