Japanese Schools Hold Open Days for Prospective Students

Kumamoto University’s School of Education affiliated middle school will host an open school and admissions briefing on August 3, 2026, for sixth‑grade students and one parent per family. The event will include a presentation by current students, explanations of recent changes to the entrance exam, and a campus tour. Registration opens on July 1 via the school’s website.

Clark Next Sendai conducted its second open school on June 27, 2026, attracting many third‑year middle‑school students and their parents. The day featured a school‑explanation session, individual counseling on courses and tuition, a tour of the facilities, and three trial classes: animal‑therapy with a therapy dog, an AI‑usage workshop delivered by Itonab Co., and a photography lesson. Future open schools are scheduled for July 11 and July 25, 2026.
