Japanese schools hold pre‑summer assemblies to honor students

Clark Memorial International High School's Yokohama Aoba Campus held a full‑school assembly before the summer vacation, recognizing numerous students for achievements in the Kanji (漢検), Mathematics (数検) and English (英検) proficiency exams. The event highlighted the school’s emphasis on supporting each learner’s growth and encouraged students to make the most of the break.

At International Pacific University’s Education Department, a pre‑term‑end assembly was conducted for each year‑class. The gathering reflected on the first semester’s progress, showcased project preparations for an upcoming school festival, discussed upcoming caregiving and outreach internships, and reinforced commitment to future teaching practice and graduation research. Both assemblies aimed to motivate students for the second half of the academic year.
