Japanese ski resorts launch 2026-27 winter season pass sales

Several Japanese ski resorts have announced the commencement of early bird sales for the 2026-2027 winter season.

Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort in Nagano Prefecture will begin selling early bird season passes on September 1. The discounted adult pass is priced at 49,800 yen, compared to the standard 79,500 yen. Benefits include free access to Hakuba Himekawa Onsen ‘Iwatake no Yu’, discounts on lift tickets and rentals, and various dining and fuel discounts. The pass also offers a 50% discount on lift tickets at international ski resorts owned by Vail Resorts.

Spring Valley Sendai Izumi Ski Resort will also begin accepting applications for 2026-27 winter season passes on September 1. Applications can be made via the web or by mail. The resort is also offering Eboshi Resort common season passes for 100,000 yen, with in-person cash applications available starting September 12.
