Japanese Soccer Clubs Start Nationwide Youth Soccer School Projects

Shinji Ono, former Japan international, will launch the "One Hokkaido Soccer School Project" on 6 August. The initiative, organized by Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo to mark its 30th anniversary, will see Ono travel to all 179 municipalities in Hokkaido over roughly a decade, offering soccer lessons to children under primary school age.

On 19 July, Yokohama F. Marinos partnered with the Nisshin Oily Group to hold a combined soccer clinic and nutrition lecture in Miyazaki City. The event targeted first‑ to third‑grade students, providing basic football coaching from club coaches and a session for children and parents on healthy eating and energy‑rich diets for young athletes.
