Japanese startups focus on AI and data-driven industry transformation

Several Japanese startups are leveraging AI and specialized data to modernize traditional industries. AimyTech is developing 'GRiX,' a sales DX SaaS that uses AI to analyze customer behavior from document viewing data to automate sales actions.

In the cybersecurity sector, AironWorks, led by former Israeli Defense Forces Unit 8200 members, provides an AI-driven resilience platform used by 1,500 companies globally to protect against cyberattacks and disasters.

Sotas is targeting the chemical industry, which has a shipment value of approximately 51 trillion yen. The company provides a digital platform to automate compliance with chemical regulations and is the only startup selected for the government-led 'CMP' project.

In real estate, Airdoor aims to eliminate information asymmetry by connecting users directly to property databases from management companies, offering real-time vacancy updates and reducing brokerage fees.
