JASIS 2026 to showcase laboratory automation and analytical chemistry

The JASIS 2026 exhibition, organized by the Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers Association and the Royal Society of Chemistry, will take place from September 2–4 at Makuhari Messe. The event focuses on advanced scientific and analytical systems, featuring a dedicated LabDX zone within the Innovation Frontier Zone to showcase laboratory automation, robotics, and digital transformation solutions.

Key exhibitors include Rigaku Corporation, which will present X-ray technology and laboratory automation tools for battery, electronic device, and pharmaceutical sectors. Shoko Science will showcase Agilent Technologies' multi-detector platforms for high-molecular-weight analysis. The symposium will also feature international researchers discussing computational techniques in analytical chemistry, including the use of AI and machine learning for data-driven material design and chemical identification.

Additionally, IDTechEx is addressing energy infrastructure challenges in AI data centers by highlighting the role of supercapacitors. These technologies offer higher power density and faster charge-discharge capabilities compared to lithium-ion batteries, serving as a vital solution for power buffering and stabilizing demand in growing data center environments.
