Japanese tech firms launch new AI-driven security services

Japanese technology firms are launching new AI-driven security services to combat evolving cyber threats and human error.

SHIFT has introduced ‘SECURE AQ’, a new integrated security brand formed following the merger of its security business units. The brand aims to combine AI-driven automation with professional expertise to address the shortage of security specialists and the rise in sophisticated cyberattacks. As its first specialized offering, SHIFT is providing solutions focused on ‘Splunk’, including dashboard construction support and 24/7 SOC operations powered by AI-enhanced threat detection.

Cyber Solutions has released ‘AiSE Guard’, the first product under its ‘AiSE’ security brand. This service utilizes generative AI to perform advanced context analysis on email bodies and attachments. Unlike traditional rule-based systems, AiSE Guard can detect risks such as recipient errors or the accidental sending of confidential information by understanding the nuance of the communication. The service aims to reduce the burden on IT departments and minimize human error in corporate communications.
