Japanese TV Announcer Eriko Komoro Announces Marriage on Live Broadcast

Fuji TV announcer Eriko Komoro, 27, used the July 31 episode of the morning program “Poka Poka” to announce that she had gotten married earlier in the month. She thanked the studio hosts, including the comedy duo Haraichi, and said the marriage had already been reported by some media outlets. Komoro confirmed her husband is a male employee of a general‑trade company and that the couple filed their marriage registration at a Tokyo ward office.

She added that she will continue her duties at Fuji TV, which include roles on “Mezamashi TV,” “Mr. Sunday,” and other live programs, and pledged to work harder than before.
