Japanese TV schedules summer anime premieres of “Futsutsuka na Akujo” and “Mushoku Tensei III” on July 12 2026

Two new anime series will debut on Japanese television on July 12 2026. The first, “Futsutsuka na Akujo ～Hinamiyakocho Tori‑kae Densetsu～”, adapts Nakamura Satsuki’s award‑winning light novel and follows the body‑swap drama of court maid Huang Reirin and rival Zhu Kei‑gets. It will air on the TV Tokyo network (including TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido and TVQ Kyushu) and become available on streaming platforms on July 13. The production is handled by Video Studio Wakō under director Yamasaki Mitsue.

The second series, “Mushoku Tensei III ～Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu～”, continues the popular reincarnation fantasy adapted from Rifujin Na Sune’s light novel, now focusing on Rudeus’s adult life, his second wife Roxy, and his return to the Lycian Magic Academy. It will broadcast on TOKYO MX and affiliated stations, with simultaneous streaming via ABEMA and d‑Anime Store starting July 13. Studio Bind produces the animation under director Shibuya Ryosuke.

Both shows mark the continuation of long‑running light‑novel adaptations that have amassed millions of copies in sales and a strong fanbase, signaling a busy summer season for Japanese anime broadcasters.
