Japanese TV star Nagashima Kazuo opens up about daughter trip and sudden weight gain on live show

Talent Nagashima Kazuo appeared on TV Asahi’s programme “Zawa Tsuku! Friday” and recounted a recent hot‑spring trip he took with his daughter, noting that they shared a bed during a previous visit to Brisbane, Australia, and that his daughter was comfortable with the arrangement. He also explained that his daughter had joked about his snoring, attributing it to age‑related throat muscle changes.

In the same broadcast, Nagashima disclosed that he had gained seven kilograms this year despite unchanged eating and exercise habits. He said he would start a diet, drinking only protein shakes and refusing to eat the show’s traditional prize dish, samgye‑tang, citing his desire to lose weight.
