Japanese wellness brands expand fitness and beauty services
Several fitness and wellness companies in Japan are expanding their services and studio footprints.
HITORI WELLNESS has announced a collaboration with beauty appliance brand KINUJO. Starting in August 2026, KINUJO products, including premium hair dryers and hair care items, will be available for use at 15 HITORI WELLNESS locations to enhance the post-workout experience for female members.
In the pilates sector, Sports & Life Innovation will open Brille Otsukyo, a women-only machine pilates studio, in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, on October 1, 2026. The facility will feature over 20 free parking spaces and offer various class types including mat, group machine, and personal pilates.
Additionally, Konami Sports is launching three new Pilates Mirror studios. These women-only studios, which utilize ceiling-mounted mirrors to help users monitor their movements, are scheduled to open in Ibaraki City (October 25, 2026), Fukuoka City (November 6, 2026), and Sapporo (November 10, 2026).
