Japanese Wine Tasting Tour to feature 170+ varieties in Tokyo

The Association for the Promotion of Eating and Drinking Culture will host the ‘2nd National Japanese Wine Tasting Tour’ on November 23, 2026, at Watellus Plaza in Chiyoda, Tokyo. The event aims to connect wine producers, distributors, and consumers to promote Japanese wine culture.

More than 60 wineries from across Japan, spanning from Hokkaido to Kyushu, are expected to participate, offering over 170 varieties of wine for free tasting during designated hours. The event is divided into two sessions: a ‘Drinkers and Makers’ session for the general public and industry professionals from 13:30 to 17:00, and a ‘Makers and Makers’ session exclusively for winery representatives from 17:15 to 19:00.

To encourage engagement among younger generations and industry professionals, discounts are available for those under 29, wine professionals from liquor stores or restaurants, and attendees who bring their own original glasses. Food booths will also be present at the venue.
