Japanese woman loses 43kg through sustainable lifestyle changes

A 27-year-old Japanese woman successfully lost over 43kg, dropping from 102.6kg to approximately 59kg in nearly one year. Rather than using extreme fasting or restrictive dieting, she focused on four sustainable lifestyle changes.

First, she transitioned from high-carb meals to a balanced diet focusing on PFC (protein, fat, and carbohydrates) to ensure long-term maintainability. Second, she increased physical activity gradually, starting with 6,000 steps per day before incorporating strength training such as squats and dumbbell exercises under professional guidance.

Third, she shifted her focus from purely numerical weight loss to improving body composition, muscle strength, and overall mobility. This approach emphasized long-term health and physical capability over short-term weight reduction.
