Japanese woman's journey from seeking wealth to becoming a doctor goes viral

Masami, a 26-year-old Japanese mother, has gained significant social media attention after sharing her unconventional journey of self-improvement driven by the goal of marrying a wealthy partner.

Seeking to meet medical professionals, Masami enrolled in a prestigious preparatory school to gain admission to the University of Tsukuba’s medical department. To increase her appeal, she also trained extensively in piano, eventually winning a national competition, and obtained certification as a weather forecaster to work as a weather presenter, aiming to enter circles with high-income individuals.

Her efforts resulted in meeting a fellow medical student, whom she eventually married. While her original intent was to be supported by a partner, she has since become a practicing aesthetic surgeon while also raising her one-year-old daughter. She noted that to marry someone of high caliber, one must first become a person of high caliber themselves.
