Japan's Don Quijote and Bandai unveil new character merchandise

Don Quijote and Apita will begin selling a line of San‑X series apparel on June 27, featuring items such as Rilakkuma, Sumikkogurashi, and other characters in T‑shirts and cozy room‑wear. The collection includes both standard pieces and novelty items like pile‑set outfits hung on cute hangers.

Bandai’s Premium Bandai shop has opened pre‑orders for a set of four "Gundam ZZ" chibi plush mascots—Judo Arista, El Pelly Purl, Haman Khan and Mashuma Cero—priced at ¥2,200 each. Orders run from June 22 to July 3, with shipments slated for October.

Both releases highlight a wave of new pop‑culture merchandise hitting Japanese retailers in late June, aimed at fans of classic anime and San‑X characters.
