Steak Gusto announced a "Meat Day" fair from June 26‑30, offering four set menus with a health‑salad bar and a discount of up to ¥290. The discounted combinations include aged rib‑steak, aged round steak, a mega‑size steak, and a sliced steak, each paired with the all‑you‑can‑eat salad bar.
Steak Asakuma held a weekend "Meat Day Customer Appreciation" on June 27‑28, keeping regular prices while increasing meat portions by 50 %. Three cuts – sirloin, tenderloin (fillet) and rump – were offered at 1.5 times the usual weight, with prices ranging from ¥3,950 to ¥5,445. The promotion also includes the chain’s popular salad bar, corn soup and curry.
FamilyMart reported a strong rise in online reservations for the seasonal “Doyo no Ushinoko Day” eel products, with reservation numbers in the first 21 days 122 % higher than the previous year. The campaign provides point rebates, a 1‑yen coupon for a roast‑beef set, and a lineup of eight eel‑related items, including premium Kagoshima‑origin eel. A survey showed 75 % of participants intend to eat eel with family, and about half feel it boosts their energy.
