Japfa Vietnam prioritizes EHS standards in sustainable restructuring
Japfa Comfeed Vietnam is prioritizing the development of a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment as part of its comprehensive operational restructuring strategy initiated in 2024. The company is integrating Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards across its entire value chain, including eight feed mills, over 1,400 farms, and three slaughtering and processing plants nationwide.
The EHS system is built upon four primary pillars: leadership commitment, risk assessment and control, legal compliance, and continuous improvement. This framework aims to foster a safety culture where employees proactively identify and prevent workplace hazards. Additionally, the company is investing in technology and management systems to enhance its closed-loop production model, which spans from feed to farm to food, ensuring biosecurity and product quality.
