Jaquan Lawrence joins AMW Arka Gdynia for 2026/2027 season

AMW Arka Gdynia has finalized its roster for the 2026/2027 basketball season with the signing of American player Jaquan Lawrence. Lawrence, 27, joins the team from the Czech club ERA Basketball Nymburk, where he recently won a championship and competed in the Basketball Champions League.

Coach Mantas Cesnauskis described Lawrence as an athletic, high-quality defender who fits the team's system. Lawrence becomes the sixth foreign player on the squad. He previously played for VEF Rīga in Latvia and signed a one-year contract with the Gdynia-based club.
