Jarabacoa: Parents report disappearance of 13-year-old student

The parents of 13-year-old Anyelina Cosme Faña have reported her disappearance in Jarabacoa, La Vega. According to her father, José Faña, the teenager was dropped off at the Liceo Secundario Manuel Ubaldo Gómez around 7:20 a.m. However, she failed to return home after her usual dismissal time of 3:00 p.m.

Family members expressed deep concern, noting that the adolescent had been experiencing emotional difficulties. After failing to receive information from school officials, the parents sought assistance from the National Police, who have joined the search efforts. Authorities have requested that anyone with information regarding her whereabouts contact the National Police or the Public Ministry immediately.
