Jared Curtis ruled out for Vanderbilt against Georgia due to injury
Top-ranked high school quarterback recruit Jared Curtis will miss Vanderbilt’s matchup against Georgia due to an undisclosed lower-body injury. The 19-year-old freshman, who recently made headlines by switching his commitment from the Georgia Bulldogs to Vanderbilt, was listed as questionable throughout the week but was ruled out following pre-game warmups.
Curtis, a Nashville native and the highest-rated recruit in Vanderbilt program history, has started the last two games for the Commodores. In his absence, senior Blaze Berlowitz will make his third start of the season. The injury forces Vanderbilt to adjust its playbook significantly just hours before facing Georgia in Athens.
