Jared Kushner accused of receiving billions to influence US policy

An upcoming book by journalist Matthew Cole, titled ‘Princes and Thieves: Jared Kushner and Mohamed bin Zayed’s Secret Plot to Remake the Middle East’, alleges that Jared Kushner had access to more than $2 billion in undisclosed foreign bank accounts. The funds were reportedly intended to buy influence within the United States government.

According to an excerpt published in Vanity Fair, Dutch intelligence agents allegedly discovered in 2017 that Russian operatives had hacked Kushner’s iPhone. The report claims agents gained access by recruiting a Russian spy to record images of Kushner’s screen. Through this, they allegedly observed Kushner logging into a United Arab Emirates account that had received hundreds of millions of dollars from an Azerbaijani bank.

The book further alleges that leaders in Saudi Arabia and the UAE deposited at least $2 billion into accounts connected to Kushner, including one involving Israel’s central bank. These accounts were allegedly disguised as government entities or charities to finance ‘off-the-books diplomatic objectives,’ such as efforts to broker an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal.
