Jared Kushner tells Mohammed Dahlan Gaza ceasefire will begin Sunday

Jared Kushner, former senior adviser to former U.S. President Donald Trump, personally informed ex‑PA security chief Mohammed Dahlan that a ceasefire halting Israeli attacks on Gaza will take effect on Sunday morning. Dahlan, now based in the United Arab Emirates, said Kushner confirmed an agreement with the Israeli side to stop strikes once Hamas and Palestinian factions accepted a 15‑point disarmament plan.

The proposed framework, developed with the United States, Qatar and Egypt, also includes provisions for hostage releases and large‑scale reconstruction in Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not publicly responded, and the Israeli military continues operations, reporting the elimination of two senior Hamas commanders over the weekend.
