Jarell Quansah monitored by Liverpool amid interest from major clubs
Liverpool FC is reportedly monitoring the development of defender Jarell Quansah, who currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen. Quansah, a former Liverpool youth academy product, joined the German club permanently following a successful period in England.
Quansah has established himself as a key player at Leverkusen, recording five goals and 13 clean sheets in 44 appearances during his debut campaign. His performances have earned him a place in the England national team. While Leverkusen is not in a rush to sell the defender, who is under contract until 2030, Liverpool holds a buyback clause estimated to be worth between £59.5 million and €70 million, valid until June 2027.
Several high-profile clubs are interested in the 23-year-old, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and Real Madrid. Arsenal reportedly had a €65 million bid rejected by Leverkusen in August, while Chelsea has previously made inquiries regarding his return to the Premier League.
