Jarmila Korčáková wins Anděl mezi zdravotníky award

Jarmila Korčáková, a general nurse from Vyškov Hospital, has won the seventh annual ‘Anděl mezi zdravotníky’ (Angel Among Healthcare Workers) award. The ceremony took place at the Dr. J. Čížka Municipal Theatre in Náchod.

Korčáková, who has dedicated fifty years to her profession and served as a head nurse for two decades, was recognized for her exceptional human approach and professionalism. She competed against eleven other finalists. The runners-up included physician Kamil Zábranský in second place and physician Marek Žižka in third.

The gala event was attended by various public figures, including Minister of Health Adam Vojtěch and former First Lady Livia Klausová. As part of her prize, Korčáková received several rewards, including a boat trip, a language course, and a hotel stay.
