Jarne Steuckers to miss VfL Bochum match following personal loss

VfL Bochum player Jarne Steuckers will miss the upcoming match against Arminia Bielefeld following a personal tragedy. Steuckers and his partner, Belgian content creator Maxine Bunckens, are mourning the loss of their unborn child.

Bunckens shared the news via social media, stating that during a recent ultrasound, they were informed that the baby’s heart had stopped beating. The couple had recently celebrated the pregnancy and the gender reveal, making the loss unexpected. The player has been granted time away from the club to process the bereavement and support his partner.
