Jarocin begins Kujawska Street reconstruction after 30 years

In Jarocin, the reconstruction of Kujawska Street is underway, replacing its dirt surface with asphalt. Residents have waited nearly 30 years for this upgrade. The project's history is noted for local political anecdotes involving former officials, but current Mayor Urszula Wyremblewska-Korzyniewska has moved forward with the investment.

While the initial cost estimate for the project was over 1.3 million PLN, the contractor, Wald-Bruk from the Żerków municipality, submitted a bid for less than 600,000 PLN. This represents a saving of more than 700,000 PLN for the municipality.
