Jarosław Kaczyński calls for unified patriotic front in Krakow
At a Law and Justice (PiS) convention in Krakow, Jarosław Kaczyński called for the unification of Polish patriotic forces to form a ‘United Right’ in a broad formula. He emphasized that unity is the only path to victory in upcoming elections, urging political actors to set aside personal ambitions and differences to defeat those he claims are ‘ruining’ Poland.
Separately, Mateusz Morawiecki proposed a joint march between PiS and the Confederation party to defend the Constitutional Tribunal. Morawiecki criticized the current government's actions regarding the tribunal, describing them as a ‘mockery of the Polish state’ and a violation of the rule of law. He suggested that the crisis could be resolved by retiring all judges from the new term and appointing 12 new ones.
