Jarosław Kaczyński takes week-long medical leave

Jarosław Kaczyński, leader of the Law and Justice (PiS) party, has been placed on a week-long medical leave due to health reasons. PiS spokesperson Rafał Bochenek confirmed the sick leave, noting that Kaczyński is expected to return to his activities, most likely next week.

Due to his absence, Kaczyński missed several parliamentary votes in the Sejm, including a vote of no confidence regarding Finance Minister Andrzej Domański and votes concerning abortion legislation. Despite his health issues, Kaczyński has remained active on social media.
