Jasir Asani scores historic 1,100th goal for Esteghlal

Albanian footballer Jasir Asani has made history in the Iranian football league. During a match against Sepahan, Asani scored the 1,100th goal for his club, Esteghlal, setting a new record as the first club in the history of the Iranian championship to reach this milestone.

Asani's goal, scored in the 4th minute of the match, also marked a personal milestone as he approached 100 career club goals. Despite recent contract and financial disputes that had been reviewed by the Iranian Football Federation's Disciplinary Commission, Asani remains a key player for the Tehran-based club.
