Jasmin and Maik move into new apartment after leaving mother-child home

Jasmin and Maik, featured on the RTLZWEI program ‘Hartz und herzlich’, are beginning a new chapter by moving into their own apartment in Güstrow. After leaving a mother-child facility and staying temporarily with an acquaintance named Bärbel, the pair is seeking independence.

However, the transition is marked by significant tension regarding their time at the facility. Maik expressed strong dissatisfaction, stating, “We were treated like doormats,” and claiming the staff were constantly targeting them. Jasmin added that the environment was “very biased,” though she noted the facility had provided some help during their stay. While they are eager to live autonomously, they acknowledge the challenges of being entirely on their own.
