Jasmin Herren launches cosmetic studio following financial crisis

Reality TV personality Jasmin Herren is transitioning away from the entertainment industry to focus on her career as a medical aesthetician. After the death of her husband, Willi Herren, in 2021, she faced approximately 400,000 euros in debt, which led her to file for private insolvency in 2024.

Herren has since opened her own cosmetic studio in Wissen, located in the Westerwald region of Germany. The business, which employs seven women, offers services such as medical foot care, micro-needling, and acne treatments. She has already treated nearly 400 customers and intends to expand her services to include teeth whitening and hair extensions.

While a court discharged a large portion of her debts in 2025, her insolvency proceedings are expected to continue until 2027. During this time, she pays herself a monthly salary of 1,500 euros, part of which is directed to the insolvency administrator. Herren has stated that while music and television remain hobbies, her studio is now her primary livelihood.
