Jasmin Tabatabai misses quiz question about Wilsberg

Actress Jasmin Tabatabai experienced an awkward moment during a marathon episode of the quiz show ‘Gefragt – Gejagt’. While competing against hunter Sebastian Jacoby, Tabatabai failed to correctly identify the first name of the title character from the ZDF crime series ‘Wilsberg’. She incorrectly chose ‘Ekki’ instead of the correct answer, ‘Georg’.

Adding to the awkwardness, Leonard Lansink, the actor who has played the role of Wilsberg for years, was sitting directly behind her in the advisory team. Tabatabai admitted to guessing and apologized to Lansink, who responded with humor.

Following the error, moderator Andreas Bommes turned the situation back on the actress by asking Lansink for the surname of Tabatabai’s character, Nina, from the series ‘Letzte Spur Berlin’. Lansink correctly answered ‘Amiri’, prompting Bommes to comment on how colleagues look out for one another. Tabatabai expressed continued embarrassment regarding the mistake.
