Jasmine Esquivel Crowned Mrs. Canada Universe 2026, to Compete in Sri Lanka

Jasmine Esquivel, a 43‑year‑old sales representative and mother of five from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, was crowned Mrs. Canada Universe 2026 at the Bell Media Performing Arts Centre in Surrey, British Columbia on July 25. The former pageant contestant, who last competed in the Philippines at age 17, said the win was a mix of excitement and logistical challenges, but she received strong support from her family, friends and the Prince Albert community, which organized fundraising to cover expenses.

Esquivel will represent Canada at the international Mrs. Universe competition scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka, where contestants from around the world will gather. Her preparation has included a strict diet, daily gym sessions, catwalk training and beauty coaching.
