Jasmine Jasudavicius upsets Erin Blanchfield at UFC Edmonton

At UFC Edmonton, Jasmine Jasudavicius secured a major upset victory over Erin Blanchfield via unanimous decision. All three judges scored the women’s flyweight co-main event 29-28 in favor of Jasudavicius.

Jasudavicius utilized her wrestling and grappling to dominate the first two rounds, frequently securing takedowns and maintaining top control to threaten submissions. While Blanchfield found success in the third round with improved striking and upright movement, she was unable to overcome the deficit established early in the fight.

Following the win, Jasudavicius called for a rematch with flyweight champion Natalia Silva. In the main event, Mike Malott earned a second-round knockout victory over Joaquin Buckley with a knee strike. Other Canadian fighters on the card, including Marc-André Barriault and Mandel Nallo, also secured wins.
