Marta Kostyuk reaches Wimbledon semifinal, defeats Jasmine Paolini

Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk (seed 12/13) advanced to her second consecutive Grand Slam semifinal at Wimbledon 2026 after a 6‑4, 6‑4 win over Ashlyn Krueger in the round of 16 and a 6‑3, 6‑2 victory over Italy’s Jasmine Paolini in the quarter‑finals. Kostyuk’s win over Paolini, a former finalist, marked her first Wimbledon semifinal and will set up a semi‑final clash with either Czech ninth seed Linda Noskova or Belgium’s Elise Mertens, who both also reached the last four.
