Jasło County to modernize emergency warning systems

Jasło County has secured 200,000 PLN to modernize its emergency warning and notification systems. The funding, provided through the government's Population Protection and Civil Defense Program, will be used to upgrade sirens across 22 Volunteer Fire Department (OSP) units within the county.

The modernization aims to improve threat detection and resident notification capabilities, specifically addressing “white spots” where older siren infrastructure may have poor signal reach. This initiative is intended to support the County Crisis Management Center by ensuring more efficient information dissemination during emergencies.
