Polish towns receive 30 million zł for stadium, church and tourism upgrades

Local authorities in several Polish municipalities have been granted multi‑million złotys for infrastructure and tourism projects.

In Krotoszyn, the municipal council approved a 30 000 zł grant to renovate historic doors of the St Andrew Bobola church. Jasło secured over 4.3 million zł from the national sports program to modernise its Ś15 football stadium, adding new changing rooms, photovoltaic panels and barrier‑free access. The Gmina Łomazy received more than 7.5 million zł from EU funds to create new cycling‑walking paths, playgrounds and a local product promotion point as part of the “Zielawa Valley” tourism boost. Krotoszyn’s indoor swimming pool, the Wodnik, will obtain a 9.88 million zł low‑interest loan for comprehensive energy‑efficiency retrofits, including roof, ventilation and a 100 kW solar array. The Mazovian regional assembly allocated close to 4.8 million zł to the Otwock, Legionowo and Wołomin counties for road repairs, fire‑service equipment, heritage site restorations and community programmes.
