Jason Blum to host Broadway performance of ‘Paranormal Activity’

Jason Blum is scheduled to host a special performance of the Broadway play ‘Paranormal Activity’ on Wednesday, August 26, at the August Wilson Theatre. The Blumhouse founder serves as a producer for the production.

The play, which is set for a limited 20-week run, is based on the found-footage film franchise created by Oren Peli. The stage adaptation, written by Levi Holloway and directed by Felix Barrett, follows characters James and Lou as they move from Chicago to London. The production follows a successful run at the Leeds Playhouse and the West End in London, where it received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination.

In addition to the theatrical run, Blumhouse Atomic Monster and Paramount Pictures are producing an eighth installment of the film franchise, which is expected to be released in theaters in early summer 2027.
