Jason Kelce inducted into University of Cincinnati Athletics Hall of Fame

Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce was inducted into the University of Cincinnati’s James P. Kelly Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday. The ceremony, held at Fifth Third Arena, was part of the university’s 50th anniversary class.

Kelce, who arrived at Cincinnati in 2006 as a walk-on linebacker, expressed surprise at the honor. He noted that while he was a two-time second-team All-Big East selection, he did not consider himself a star player during his collegiate career. He expressed gratitude for the recognition and the opportunity to join a group of individuals who have elevated the university's national profile.

During his time with the Bearcats, Kelce transitioned to the offensive line in 2007. He recorded 26 starts at left guard and 12 at center, contributing to back-to-back Big East championships.
