Jason McCourty Joins ESPN's Monday Night Countdown for 2026 NFL Season

ESPN announced that former Patriots safety Jason McCourty will become an analyst on the network's "Monday Night Countdown" studio show for the 2026 NFL season. The move follows a multi‑year extension signed in June that keeps McCourty exclusively with ESPN, where he will appear across the network’s NFL coverage, including NFL Live, Get Up, First Take and SportsCenter. He will join host Scott Van Pelt and fellow analysts Jason Kelce and Marcus Spears on the Monday night pre‑game broadcast.

McCourty highlighted the family rivalry in a post on X, joking that viewers should watch his brother Devin on NBC’s "Football Night in America" on Sundays and then tune to ESPN on Mondays to see the "better twin." Devin McCourty, a former Patriots teammate, has been an analyst for NBC since 2023.
