Jason Momoa expresses preference for filmmaking over acting

Actor Jason Momoa has stated that acting is not his primary passion, describing himself as someone who “fell into” the profession rather than seeking it out. Speaking on the At The Bar podcast, the star noted that while he respects many in the craft, he finds more fulfillment in the broader filmmaking process, including writing, directing, and producing.

Momoa also shared his preference for rock concerts over film sets, noting his enjoyment of playing bass with his band, Öof Tatatá. Regarding his celebrity status, he admitted that being approached by fans can be difficult when he is spending time with his children or his partner, Adria Arjona. He expressed a desire to protect his private time with family, even if refusing fan interactions occasionally makes him appear impolite.
