Jason Momoa to return as Hayt in Dune 3

Jason Momoa will reprise his role in the Dune franchise for the third installment, appearing as Hayt. While Momoa previously portrayed the character Duncan Idaho, who died in the first film, Hayt is a ghola—a genetically engineered human replica created from Idaho's remains.

According to details shared with Empire, Hayt is a version of the character that lacks the original's full memories but retains an essential connection to his previous existence. This transformation presents a significant shift in personality; Momoa described the new version as a strong, silent, and violent presence, contrasting with the charismatic warrior seen previously.

The character's return is expected to be a pivotal element in the adaptation of 'Dune Messiah', potentially altering the relationship between Hayt and Paul Atreides, played by Timothée Chalamet.
