Jasper Philipsen wins 2026 Renewi Tour overall title
Jasper Philipsen of Alpecin-Premier Tech has won the 2026 Renewi Tour, securing both the final stage victory in Leuven and the overall general classification title.
Philipsen dominated the latter half of the race, winning three of the final four stages. His victory in the fifth and final 183.7 km stage was secured in a bunch sprint, where he finished ahead of Luca Mozzato and Mike Teunissen. This win allowed him to defend his lead and finish 14 seconds ahead of compatriot Jenno Berckmoes in the final standings. Olav Kooij finished third overall.
The race featured several tactical shifts, including Philipsen reclaiming the yellow jersey during Stage 4 after a narrow sprint victory in Bilzen. The final stage in Leuven included a challenging circuit with multiple climbs, but the decisive moment came in the final sprint following a chaotic finish that saw some riders crash in the peloton.
