Jasper Troy discusses frustrations with WWE NXT booking

Former WWE NXT Superstar Jasper Troy, now known as Kairo D. Rain, has shared details regarding his frustrations with creative booking and a lack of consistent opportunities prior to his release from the company in September 2026.

During his four-year tenure with WWE, which began in 2022, Troy achieved several milestones, including winning the inaugural season of WWE LFG and capturing the WWE Speed Championship. Speaking on ‘The Takedown on Sports Illustrated’, Troy explained that he frequently sought clarification regarding his creative direction from officials, but was repeatedly told to ‘stay patient’.

While Troy maintained a professional attitude and continued to work through physical adversity, he noted that his momentum suffered due to inconsistent television appearances and matches. He stated that despite his dedication and improving in-ring performance, the lack of regular opportunities eventually led to increased frustration.
